Awards Celebration

  We held a party this week to celebrate our awards this year. Thanks to Cafe 31 for hosting us. Everyone had a fantastic evening as we enjoyed displaying our winning trophies collected throughout this year. Well done to all.

Cabinteely win Best Small Town/Village population under 3000

The Tidy Districts Awards ceremony held on 30th September, 2015. This was the 23rd Tidy Districts Awards with 100 people from 34 different groups represented. Fifteen residential category prizes have been awarded to groups throughout the County (see below). Residents Associations and Tidy Towns Groups between them received award money to the sum of €7,200.00. Cabinteely Tidy Towns won the …

Bronze Medal for Cabinteely Tidy Towns – first medal we have won!!!

Cabinteely received 2 awards at the National SuperValu Tidy Towns Awards ceremony in the Helix on the 28th of Sept:   County award – Midland and East – Co. Dublin and a Bronze Medal. Cabinteely was awarded the 3rd highest score of all the 40 entrants from Dublin, so congratulations and a big thanks to everyone who contributed to this fantastic achievement.  Click here …

Tidy Towns and Tidy Districts Competitions

At a Tidy Districts Awards ceremony held on the 11th September 2014, for 29 local groups across the county, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council announced that Cabinteely Tidy Towns Team is the overall winner of the Tidy Districts Competition 2014. Cabinteely Tidy Towns was chosen to take part in the first campaign of the Tesco Cabinteely Community Fund program. Thanks to all those who placed the tokens they received while shopping in the Tidy Towns cylinder. We managed to accumulate the most amount of tokens so will be receiving some welcome funding from Tesco.
