The Cabinteely Tidy Towns Team has been notified by the Department of the Environment and Local Government  that it has nominated Cabinteely for the ‘Ireland’s Best Kept Towns’ competition. More success for Cabinteely Tidy Towns

At the DLR County Council Tidy Districts Awards Ceremony held in The Town Hall, Dun Laoghaire tonight, Cabinteely Tidy Towns won the prize for Best Town/Village (population < 3000).  Well done to all our volunteers.

Silver Medal for Cabinteely Tidy Towns

At the National SuperValu Awards at The Helix today, Cabinteely Tidy Towns was awarded a SILVER MEDAL, having previously won a bronze medal in both 2015 and 2016. We also received a County Award for the 3rd highest points score in the Dublin Region. Well done to all our volunteers.  Thank you to all our supporters.

Whiskered bat recorded in Cabinteely Park

DLR is delighted that the whiskered bat (an uncommon and little-known bat), has been recorded by Bat Conservation Ireland in Cabinteely Park by Paul Scott during a bat walk in Cabinteely Park organised for Heritage Week in August 2017.
